Maintenance and Cleaning Information


You can vacuum your Berber rug without any issue. However for the best results place only use a simple vacuum with suction. If you use a more advance vacuum it could cause tiring or fraying on your carpet. In general the more gentile you are the less likely you are to damage the fibers of the carpet.

Cleaning Spots and Stains

In a perfect world, you will see a spill as soon it happens. Immediately pour a little baking soda on the spot and allow it to absorb all the moisture. You can then follow that by vacuuming or dabbing a little club soda on the spot.  However if you aren't as lucky and you don't notice the stain till its dry. You can try mixing vinegar and water together and dabbing a little on the spot. Or try cleaning with cold water or club soda gently on the specific spot. But just remember this rugs all have blemishes and quarks. They are all unique and made in the Atlas Mountains. Your spill adds character to these amazing pieces of art.
